Mar 11,  · Originally out in 94' The Greatest Thing marks a turning point in Skanna's sound, pre-dating the future sci-fi trance he went on to produce as Quivver, The Greatest thing and its two b-sides show a more lush, ambient sound when compared to the darkside mechanisms of early tracks like Nightstalker and the OG Heaven.

Quality late production from Skanna, and one of his better releases in my self-effacing opinion. It starts off on a mellow tip before kicking off nicely about half way through. Mar 11,  · Originally out in 94, this 12" planted a rare remix of Skanna's crystal clear jungle wizardry in the bags of many DJs in the know, the remix in question was by jungles OG bad boys Criminal Minds. Taking the original track's liquid tendency and pushing it into a more dub-heavy tempo with added FXXX this meeting of sounds and styles paved the way.

Innovative, idiosyncratic jungle from ’94, remastered and reissued by Skanna for the ’16 crew. The Greatest Thing (Summertime Mix) oozes warm atmospheric pressure and tight, pointillist drums on the A-side, breaking down to trademark flourish of layered synths and twisting between dark/light vibes. The same cut appears in a leaner, brooding version on the B-side laced with Rufige Kru-style.

Classic ’94 jungle roll-out from Skanna reissued and remastered for ’16 replete with killah original B-side mix from The Criminal Minds. The OG All You Wanted rolls up and out streaked with sci-fi synths and echoes of earlier rave vibes across the front; the mix from Spatts ov The Criminal Minds is the one tho, easing off inna spacious display of dubbed jungle dread voodoo on the B-side.
